2016 marks a milestone in the partnership between Bimbadgen and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney. As the MCA celebrates 25 years redefining Sydney’s artistic landscape, Bimbadgen is proud to celebrate our involvement as an MCA partner for the last 15 years. To commemorate this special occasion, we have extended our collaboration with the MCA to showcase these spectacular images on all of our Estate wines bottled in 2016.

This Chardonnay is a blend of Bimbadgen’s McDonalds Road and Palmers Lane vineyard blocks. The red clay soils of both sites give this wine its distinctive melon and peach flavours, balanced by a fine citrus acidity and smooth round finish. Aged in old and new French oak barriques and puncheons for 10 months, it is a modern style of Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Enjoy!

Melbourne-based artist Louise Hearman creates visually haunting, modestly-scaled paintings in oil that are characterised by their eerie, gothic quality and deft manipulation of light and shadow.
