The Bimbadgen Regions range of wines showcase a diverse selection of varietals chosen from regions known or identified for their superior quality and expression of flavour. The Riverina is renowned for its superior dessert wines. A bright golden coloured wine with aromas of marmalade and ripe peach. The palate is rich with concentrated fruit and honey flavours balanced with citrus acidity.

  • Grown:
    Grown in Griffith, otherwise known as the Botrytis capital of Australia, New South Wales.
  • Picked:
    Once the environmental conditions necessary for the rampant growth of the fungus Botrytis Cinerea occurred.
  • Made:
    After crushing and overnight skin contact, the Semillon juice was settled and racked. The super sweet juice then underwent a slow fermentation with a number of selected yeast strains. In addition, a number of different fermentation temperatures and oak treatments were also employed. A selection of new and oak was used on a portion of the wine for maturation with the remainder staying in stainless steel tanks.

  • Appearance:
    Golden straw yellow.
  • Aroma:
    Distinct aromas of marmalade and white peach.
  • Palate:
    Luscious and rich, with concentrated flavors of marmalade, peach and apricot, balanced by a fresh lemon citrus acidity.
  • Cellaring:
    The wine should be enjoyed now however it has wonderful ageing potential over 15-20 years.
  • Food Match:
    A perfect accompaniment to Crème brulee, and many soft and hard cheeses.
