Bimbadgen's striking Bell Tower is positioned on a ridge overlooking Australia's oldest wine region. This has been the inspiration behind the Bimbadgen Ridge range of wines.

This medium bodied wine combines the firm fruity characters of Shiraz with the length and finish of Cabernet Sauvignon. A fruit driven, easy drinking blend of varieties made to enjoy now.

  • Grown:
    Central Ranges NSW - Orange.
  • Picked:
    All parcels were machine harvested.
  • Made:
    Grapes were crushed and de-stemmed to stainless steel fermenters. Fermentation was started by inoculation with selected yeast strains lasting for six days and peaking at 32°C. The fermenting juice was pumped over daily throughout the fermentation process to intensify the colour and fruit extraction out of the skins. The aim is to make vibrant, fruity wines that are soft and ready to drink now.

    Alcohol: 14% Shiraz 55% Cabernet Sauvignon 45%
  • Appearance:
    Dark cherry red in colour.
  • Aroma:
    Mixed berry fruits and Christmas cake spice aromas dominate with a hint of tobacco leaf.
  • Palate:
    Lashings of fleshy berry fruit, a touch of spice and a whisper of oak for structure. This wine combines the firm fruity flavours of Shiraz with the length and structure of Cabernet Sauvignon. A classic Australian blend.

    This wine has been made to be enjoyed now.
