The 2016 vintage was a spectacular one for Semillon in the Hunter Valley. This Semillon is a blend of our McDonalds Road and Palmers Lane vineyard blocks. The red clay soils of McDonalds Road provide ripe tropical flavours whilst the sandy loam soils of Palmers Lane give this Semillon its distinctive fresh lime flavours, zesty acidty and finesse.
This Chardonnay is a blend of Bimbadgen’s McDonalds Road and Palmers Lane vineyard blocks. The red clay soils of both sites give this wine its distinctive melon and peach flavours, balanced by a fine citrus acidity and smooth round finish. Aged in old and new French oak barriques and puncheons for 10 months, it is a modern style of Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Enjoy!
This Rosè is a blend of our Tempranillo and Shiraz blocks. Made in the Provence style, it is dry, bright and light. The wine bursts with fresh red berries, rose and watermelon aromas. The palate is equally fresh, balanced by natural acidity with a lovely texture.
This Shiraz is a blend of our McDonalds Road and Palmers Lane old vine Shiraz blocks. The red clay soils of our McDonalds Road vineyard provide the rich, dark blackberry fruits; whilst the red clay over limestone of the Palmers Lane vineyard add bright red perfumed aromas. Aging in old and new French barriques and puncheons adds gentle oak spice and ensures a medium body, soft, easy drinking Hunter Valley Shiraz.
This Viognier exhibits a heady perfume of fleshed stone fruits, summer blossoms, orange marmalade and a hint of spice. Ripe peaches, apricot and lemon curd linger on the palate carried by a refreshing citrus acidity. This wine serves as the perfect accompaniment to roast pork.
Fruity aromas with a hint of oak and some sherry like characters. Floral and fruity flavours with some layers of complexity create a very pleasurable experience.
