      Bimbadgen McDonalds Road Vineyard, Block 17

    • Vintage Notes

      2021 saw the end to a four year hot and dry spell here in the Hunter. This milder year brought higher yields and a longer ripening period allowing the fruit to develop beautifully.

    • Tasting Notes

      Fruit crushed into stainless steel fermenter and inoculated with a neutral yeast strain. Regular pump overs for colour and tannin extraction throughout fermentation before being pressed into French oak barriques

      Dark crimson

      Blackberries and forest floor intertwined by silky oak

      Concentrated red and black berries, supple tannins and a long integrated support of oak
